Each parish has its own association and its own life. Together they make up the village cluster.
Lively residents' association
Engmark has an active residents' association and a vibrant parish with a calendar of activities all year round – from gymnastics in Engmark Hallen to local traditions.
Parish association & the Culture House
Søndby Parish Association looks after the parish's interests, organises Midsummer's Eve and the Christmas tree lighting, publishes the local paper Søndby Nyt and runs the flag avenue. The town wardens keep the town tidy and green.
Residents' & Business Association
Bækkelund Residents' & Business Association brings together town and business life. Bækkelund has an Activity & Culture Centre, groceries and a strong local business community.
Close to lake and nature
Klithuse for Land og By lies close to the Tre Søer area, with a harbour, an inn, cafés and a rich club life in Klithuse Forenede Klubber.
Sogneforeningens formål er at varetage sognets interesse og følge dets udvikling, og på den baggrund tage initiativ til projekter, der medvirker til, at Søndby er et godt sted at bo.
Alle kan blive medlem. Det er vigtigt med bred tilslutning, så foreningen kan tale hele sognets sag. Kontingent: enlige 50 kr./år, par 100 kr./år, bypedeller 50 kr./år.
En flok frivillige, der gør en forskel: de holder grønne områder, torvet, byporte og bænke, klipper hæk, samler affald og hjælper sogneforeningen med bl.a. julebelysning. Kontakt sogneforeningen på 00 00 00 00.
